Colors is set to launch new weeknight drama ‘Parichay – Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka’ in August, which will result in ‘Mukti Bandhan’ being shifted to another timeslot.
The Balaji Telefilms produced show ‘Parichay’ is most likely to take the 21:30 weekday slot. This means the current show ‘Mukti Bandhan’ will move to vacant 23:00 slot. However, channel officials are yet to confirm the developments.
‘Parichay’ stars Sameer Soni, Aarti Singh, Ayaz Khan and Alka Amin. The story revolves around a lawyer and how he divides his time between his profession and personal relations.
According to TellyBuzz, ‘Mukti Bandhan’ has won many praises critically for its content but has failed to deliver in terms of ratings. There were rumours that ‘Mukti Bandhan’ may just get axed from the schedule but this is unlikely at this stage.
The change takes place on Tuesday 9th August at 21:30.
