Colors to go BARB rated in September

Following BizAsia‘s exclusive scoop earlier this week about premium channel, Colors going free to air in UK next month, we have another update.

BizAsia can now exclusively reveal that Colors will become a BARB rated channel, which means it will have its audience officially measured by an official body in UK.

Whilst Viacom18 and IndiaCast are remaining tight lipped on developments, BizAsia can reveal that Colors will drop out from the VIEWASIA bundle on Sky Digital on Monday 2nd September and go free permanently. Virgin Media subscribers at this stage will continue watching as normal.

Colors will join sister channels Rishtey and News18 India by getting viewing figures officially measured.

Colors will go BARB rated on Monday 2nd September. The same day as Geo News, which BizAsia broke the news of too earlier this week.

Viacom18, IndiaCast and VIEWASIA remained unavailable for comment at the time of filing this story.
