Colors to bring back iconic show ‘Balika Vadhu’ for second season?

Indian television broadcasters have started the trend of bringing back shows from the past with fresh seasons. After the popular returns of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, ‘Saathiya’ and ‘Pratigya’, Colors will be reviving ‘Balika Vadhu’ this summer. Incidentally, Colors is also re-launching ‘Sasural Simar Ka’.

‘Balika Vadhu’ known to be one of the longest running Indian TV fictions, bowed out after an eight-year run. Pre-production of the work is already underway, according to IWM Buzz.

A source said, “A very enticing storyline has been approved for the show and work on Balika Vadhu’s new season has started. However, the show is still in its nascent stage as of now.”
