Colors to air Dilip Kumar & Madhubala drama

Colors will be broadcasting a new drama next month called ‘Kathputli’ based around the yesteryear love affair between Bollywood icons Dilip Kumar and Madhubala.

It will be produced by Saurabh Tiwari, and will star Dhrishti Dhami and Vivaan Dsena as Madhubala and Dilip Kumar, respectively. Raj Zhutshi will essay the role of Madhubala�۪s father, Ata Ulla Khan.

A source close to the project told��Mumbai Mirror, “It is a show about the tragic love story of Dilip Kumar and Madhubala, which is probably one of the most talked about in the Indian film industry. The story deals with their careers and how their relationship ended on a bitter note due to a misunderstanding between Dilip Kumar and Madhubala�۪s father. Currently being shot, the show will be on air by next month. All other details are being kept under wraps.”
