Colors to sign Sunil & Ali to compete with Kapil?

Colors has reportedly hatched a plan to lure Sunil Grover and Ali Asghar for a show to compete with Kapil Sharma on Sony Entertainment Television.

According to DNA India, the two popular comedians are rumoured to have walked out of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ after a spat with Sharma. If true, then this would mark the return of Grover and Asghar back to Colors.

A source told the publication, “This left Kapil humiliated. Sunil made sure that he doesn’t give in to Kapil’s pleas because he feels they are extremely fake. Also, Sony was planning to renew their contract and pay Kapil as much as Rs 107 crore for the show. But now that too seems unlikely.”

Another source said, “Kapil and Colors don’t get along and their public fight was not just ugly but for everyone to see. Colors hasn’t forgiven Kapil yet and the reasons remained the same – his regular tantrums and attitude. Today, the same behavioural traits have cost him a few friends and soon, he will land up with no work if this continues. Colors has planned to start a comedy show of its own with Sunil Grover and they are also in talks with Ali Asgar, who along with Sunil has boycotted The Kapil Sharma Show.”
