Colors Rishtey UK to air ‘Ajnabi Bane Humsafar’ in 21:00 slot

Continuing its promise to showcase shows with storylines adapted to reflect progressive thoughts and values, Colors Rishtey UK is all set to launch a new primetime drama series ‘Ajnabi Bane Humsafar’ starting 2nd May, Monday to Saturday at 21:00.

The show is about a girl who loves Hindi and strongly believes in her rich literature, culture, and traditions. In a twist of fate, she meets a materialistic, rich family boy with a very practical approach to life and gets married to him. Can she guide him back home as his mother wishes or will she fail to the harsh realities of modern life? Will love bloom or succumb to ego, forms the crux of the story.

Govind Shahi, Executive VP & Head, IndiaCast International Business, said, “We have a strong viewer base of audience who are deeply rooted to their values, yet are constantly keeping in tune to the current, evolving times. And I am sure that this show will strike a chord with them as it reflects their culturally-hybrid sentiments. With this new show launch, in addition to Kawach Mamta Ka which launched a couple of days back, we have two very good shows on Colors Rishtey primetime which are unique and have very interesting story lines. These shows have been very successful on Colors regional channels in India, and we felt that our viewers should also get a chance to enjoy the Hindi versions of these shows. Apart from UK, these shows will also be available to audiences in Middle East and USA on the respective Colors Rishtey feeds.”
