Colors revamps UK schedule to entice viewers

Colors has announced major schedule changes in its programming in an effort to entice viewers.

The channel, which is lagging behind Star Plus, &TV and its sister channel, Rishtey, will breakaway from the tradition of telecasting shows in the same timeslots as India.

As of tonight, Colors’ weekday schedule will look as follows:
18:30 Sasural Simar Ka
19:00 Balika Vadhu
19:30 Ishq Ka Rang Safed
20:00 Shakti
20:30 Udaan
21:00 Swaragini
21:30 Krishnadasi
22:00 Ashoka

Furthermore, the channel will also see a change in its weekend programming. With ‘Naagin’ ending this week, content of new thriller ‘Kavach’ will not be appropriate to air before the UK watershed of 21:00. Hence, Colors UK will air ‘Kavach’ at 21:00 at weekends, resulting in ‘India’s Got Talent’ shifting to an earlier slot, possibly at 19:30 (TBC).
