Colors has poached the credible pagaent show, Femina Miss India, which has previously been broadcast on rival Sony Entertainment Television Asia.
The event, which is now in its 50th year has undergone a makeover with a new logo. It has also joined hands with beauty brand Pond’s. This collaboration is an ode to the Indian woman and her journey to stardom.
To commemorate the occasion, Pond۪s Femina Miss India 2013 also released a melodious new soundtrack, a brand anthem for all the aspiring young Miss India۪s. Shibani Kashyap, singer and composer of the song, performed a live rendition of the all new inspirational song which portrayed the essence of real women, the women of today.

Femina Miss India will be shown on Colors in India and the USA. In the UK, it is yet to be decided whether it will be shown on Colors or sister channel, Rishtey.
