Colors halts plans for ‘India’s Got Talent 8’

Colors has reportedly put back plans to launch reality show ‘India’s Got Talent 8’.

According to Telly Buzz, auditions had taken place in January but as the show is facing budget cuts, it will no longer go on-air in its current time frame. The report adds that the show will not be back for another season until budget issues have been resolved.

The decision seems surprising as Colors relies on ‘India’s Got Talent’ as a part of its Winter/Spring programming to fill the weekend slot. It currently is airing ‘Rising Star India’, so it remains to be seen what show will follow after it concludes in March.

‘India’s Got Talent’ is formed of Kirron Kher, Karan Johar, and Malaika Arora Khan.
