Colors Gujarati UK launch details confirmed

Viacom18’s new channel, Colors Gujarati will be launching on Sky in the UK on Tuesday 1st June, BizAsiaLive.com can exclusively reveal.

The channel will become the only service targeting the UK Gujarati community. It will be available on both Sky and Virgin Media (channel 825). This will be Viacom18’s fourth service in the UK, along with Colors, Colors Rishtey and Colors Cineplex. Watch the promo below.

Colors Gujarati will broadcast a mixture of fictions and films, with big titles including ‘Wrong Side Raju’, ‘Shubh Arambh’, ‘Bey Yaar’, ‘Kevi Rite Jaish’, ‘Chello Divas’, ‘Love Ni Bhavai’ and ‘Dha’. Films will air everyday, with premieres every Sunday night at 19:00. There will also be classic movies shown at 15:00 on Sundays.

The channel’s evening schedule will consist of:

19:30 Laxmi Sadaiv Mangalam
20:00 Rashi Rikshawali
20:30 Jai Shri Krishna
21:00 Prem Ni Bhavai
