Colors to end ‘Thapki’ in July

Popular series ‘Thapki’ has proved a huge success on Colors India and on Rishtey UK, however, its been confirmed that the show is ending next month.

The final episode of the show is expected to air on 14th July. It has been under the scanner for many months but it now seems Colors India is axing its original 17:00 slot with this show. Meanwhile, Rishtey UK is yet to confirm what will fill the 20:00 slot where it currently sits.

The show has been under a few changes recently after its lead actress Jigayasa Singh fell ill with swine flu, being replaced temporarily by Hunar Hale. However, Singh is expected to return to the show this week.
