Colors confirms Salman Khan hosting ‘Bigg Boss 11’

The rumour mill has gone into overdrive again after reports emerged that Salman Khan has been replaced by Akshay Kumar as host of Colors’ hit reality show ‘Bigg Boss 11’.

Denying the speculation, a Colors spokesperson told BizAsiaLive.com that the news was untrue and that Khan was still a part of the show. Last month, the channel had put out a call for the public to audition in this year’s series. The tweet by Colors CEO, Raj Nayak at the time had also tagged Salman Khan.

Khan is currently shooting for his next ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and also preparing for his UK tour of ‘Da-Bangg’ in September.

Meanwhile, Kumar has his own show starting on Star Plus later this year called ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’.
