Colors confirm launch dates for ‘Tu Aashiqui’ & ‘Ishq Mein Mar Jawan’

With the launch of ‘Bigg Boss 11’ set for early October, Colors will be launching two new fictions ahead of its big ticket reality show.

The broadcaster has confirmed that it will be launching ‘Tu Aashiqui’ and ‘Ishq Mein Mar Jawan’ in the 19:00 – 20:00 slot from Wednesday 20th September.

‘Tu Aashiqui’ will take the 19:00 slot, which will see ‘Savitri Devi’ reduce to 30-minutes at 18:30, followed by ‘Ishq Mein Mar Jawan’ at 19:30. ‘Tu Aashiqui’ has been described as show based on the popular film ‘Aashiqui 2’ (2013), with a youth star cast, while ‘Ishq Mein Mar Jawan’ stars Aalisha Panwar and Arjun Bijlani. It is said to be based on the 80s classic ‘Chaalbaaz’ (1989).
