Colors announces New Year’s special show ‘Wakhra Swag’
Colors has announced a special show it will be broadcasting this New Year’s Eve called ‘Wakhra Swag’.
To kick in the festivities, the lead artists from its popular ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’, ‘Vidya’, ‘Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas ki’, ‘Shubharambh’, ‘Bepanah Pyaarr’, and ‘Bahu Begum’ will be seen performing to some of the iconic songs.
A classic love tale for Mehar and Sarabjit
Sarabjit (Avinesh Rekhi) and Mehar (Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia) discuss with each other how their year has been while Sarabjit asks Mehar about her wishes for New Year. Mehar expresses her fascination with classic love stories and sees a dream wherein she is performing with Sarabjit to the tunes of ‘Phir Milenge chalte chalte’ recreating the moment as Raj Kapoor and Nargis.
Vidya dances like a free bird
Vidya (Meera Deosthale) is in the school classroom where the kids are discussing their new year wishes with her. Later the kids ask Vidya about her wish when she says that she wants to let all her guards down and dance like no one is watching. She then dreams about dancing along with Vivek (Namish Taneja) to the tunes of Sauda Khara.
Heer gives Saumya and Harman performance a romantic song
Saumya (Rubina Dilaik) and Heer are busy with New Year preparations when the former asks her about her wish. Heer starts narrating what’s on her mind which turns into a dream sequence and she imagines Saumya and Harman against a romantic set up as Main Agar Kahoon plays in the background.
Raja fulfills Rani’s wish of a camel ride
Rani (Mahima Makwana) is upset and she is sitting alone in a corner. Raja (Akshit Sukhija) notices this and asks her the reason for her aloofness. Rani tells him how one wish of hers since childhood never got fulfilled of going for a camel ride. Raja quickly creates a mela-like atmosphere with sounds of dhol creating a joyous mood. Raja gets a camel and they both hop on it for a ride. Rani further imagines them dancing to the Shubhaarambh song.
Noor and Shayra put aside their differences
Noor (Samiksha Jaisawal) and Shayra (Diana Khan) discuss bringing in the New Year with a stunning performance and they imagine themselves performing to Dola Re Dola.
Pragati’s wish of spending some quality time with Raghbir is fulfilled
Raghbir (Pearl V Puri) and Pragati (Ishita Dutta) prepare to go for a New Year’s party where Raghbir plans to gift Pragati a necklace at the strike of 12. Pragati, on the other hand, expresses her wish to spend some quality time with Raghbir like before forgetting all their differences and misunderstandings. She then imagines dancing with him to the tunes of Dil Diyan Gallan while rekindling their romance.
