Colors has acquired the rights to broadcast the Celebrity Cricket League, which will air on the channel next weekend.

The Celebrity Cricket League is a non-professional men�۪s cricket league contested by eight teams consisting of film actors, including from the regional film industry. It was launched by Sachin Tendulkar last month.

It is reported that 200 celebrities from various Indian film industries will participate in the tournament.

The eight teams participating in the tournament are Kerala Strikers, Chennai Rhinos, Telugu Warriors, Mumbai Heroes, Karnataka Bulldozers, Bengal Tigers, Bhojpuri Dabbangs and Veer Marathi.

Previously, Celebrity Cricket League was aired on Sahara One. The new series will broadcast on Colors (including UK) from Saturday 25th January. Colors and Rishtey are media partners of the Celebrity Cricket League.
