After the India government gave the green light to cinema halls to re-open on 15th October 2020, the Maharashtra government was against the move.
However, in a positive development, the Maharashtra government has given the signal to cinemas to reopen from Thursday 5th November. Capacity in each cinema hall will not exceed 50%.
The government announced a number of terms along with the news, with refreshments not permitted inside theatres, cinema halls and multiplexes.
