Chitrangada Singh to turn producer with Sandeep Singh biopic

Chitrangada Singh is known for her risky roles and her luring sex appeal. However, this is a beauty with brains and, following in the footsteps of the contemporaries, she is all set produce a film about Sandeep Singh, Indian hockey player.

Chitrangada is thought to have bought the rights to Sandeep’s life story. Sandeep himself told Mumbai Mirror, “It feels great that I will watch my life unveil on celluloid soon. I have known Chitrangada for years, she is a friend.”

Whilst further details of the project are yet to be confirmed, Chitrangada is clear that she will definitely not be seen in front of the camera in the film.

Sandeeps story would definitely be received with interest on celluloid as he had a gunshot injury in 2006 whilst being a national player. He was wheelchair-bound for two years but then rejoined the national team.
