Chitrangada Singh pulls out of fashion show due to divorce?

Many rumours have been emerging about Chitrangada Singh’s split with golfer husband Jyoti Randhawa. Although the actress has denied that there is any truth to the speculation, BizAsia has learnt that she has pulled out of a fashion show because she is dealing with family issues at the moment.

According to Mid-Day, Singh was set to be the showstopper for designer Archana Kochhar in Dubai on 27th May. A source stated, “That is why she pulled out of the event. It�۪s her personal life and it should not be made public”.

However, conflicting statements are coming into play about the incident. Kochhar has confirmed that Singh was meant to be a part of the show but Singh refuses to confirm her involvement. Singh is quoted to have said, “There is absolutely no truth to the news that I backed out of the Dubai event. I did not confirm for the event in the first place. Though there was an offer I had never agreed to do it. I was available on that date but it was not something that interested me. No confirmation was made whatsoever”.

Reports had gone as far as to say that the couple had attended court to file for a divorce but the actress very frankly says that it was to sort out a property issue.
