Chitrangda Singh has high hopes for ‘Baazaar’

Though her last film ‘Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3’ (2018) bombed at the box office, Chitrangda Singh is hoping that her next film will perform better. Starring in Gauravv K Chawla’s ‘Baazaar’, Singh plays a small role but is essential to the film’s plot.

“I don’t get that much screen time in Baazaar, so that was a bit of a challenge. Without getting too many lines, I still had to help the plot unravel,” Asian Age reports the actress stating.

Talking about her character, the actress went on to add, “My character is warm. Though she is not in love with her partner, she looks at his games in a different way, and she thinks of how she would stand up against someone that strong.”

Also starring Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte, ‘Baazaar’ is produced by Nikkhil Advani. Singh went into to talk about her she and Advani had been planning to work together for some time, “Nikkhil and I have been talking about working together for a very long time. He was looking for someone who conveyed dignity for this role.”
