Bengali entertainment service Channel S will commence broadcasting round the clock when it officially launches as a standalone channel on Sky Digital next week.
It has been timesharing six hours of programming with ATN Global (EPG 827) since mid-December. From Monday 7th March Channel S will be allocated its own EPG slot (TBC).
Channel S aims to create a new generation of in-house productions targeted to the Sylheti community. Featuring documentaries, news, travelogue series, lifestyle and kids? programmes, talk shows and the first ever Sylheti drama series ? Channel-S strives for innovative broadcasting.
Channel S has begin testing off the Sky EPG for its new slot at 11.426 (V), 27.5, 2/5, under the label “52520”.
Channel S’s new EPG number will be confirmed later this week.
