Channel Punjab begins testing on Sky Digital

Forthcoming 24-hour Punjabi infotainment channel, Channel Punjab, has commenced testing on Sky Digital, off the Sky EPG, days before it officially goes live.

Information and previews of the channel have been covered exclusively on BizAsia.co.uk over the past few weeks. According to information supplied by the broadcaster, Channel Punjab will be available on the Sky EPG from Tuesday 29th August, with test transmissions until Monday 4th September. This day will also see regular programmes being launched.

Tests of Channel Punjab can be viewed in the following way:

-> Using your Sky Digi remote, go to Services Menu
-> System Setup (4)
-> Add Channels (4)
-> Enter the frequency: 12.560 (H), FEC 2/3, Symbol Rate 27500
-> Find Channels and Press SELECT
-> Highlight “54057” service and press Yellow button.
-> Return to Services Menu
-> Other Channels (6) on STB / (8) on Sky+
-> “54057” should be listed and available
