Channel 4 confirms Indian Film Season for Autumn/Winter 2019

Channel 4 has announced its Indian film line-up for its Indian Film Season, which will broadcast during Autumn/Winter this year.

There will be two Indian films shown each week in their usual late night slots. The Indian Film Festival kicks off on Monday 29th October with movie ‘Trapped’. The second movie to air will be ‘Veere Di Wedding’ on Thursday 31st October. The films will then every Tuesday and Thursday nights.

The movie titles this year include ‘Trapped’, ‘Veere Di Wedding’, ‘Nachom-Ia-Kumpasar’, ‘Manmarziyaan’, ‘Satyakam’, ‘Nude’, ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’ and ‘Kaparush’, ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ and ‘The Space Between The Notes’.

It is worth noting that ‘Veere Di Wedding’ will premiere for the first time on UK television. However, its rights lay with ZEE Network for future broadcast.
