Chancellor Rishi Sunak & Health Secretary Sajid Javid resign from their posts
Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak, and the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Sajid Javid, have resigned from their Government posts.
Both men have taken to Twitter to share their respective letters to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, stating that their loyalty has been with him for some time but they feel they are unable to continue.
Sunak wrote, “The public rightly expect government to be conducted properly, competently and seriously. I recognise this may be my last ministerial job, but I believe these standards are worth fighting for and that is why I am resigning”.

Both Sunak and Javid have been staunch supporters of the Johnson during his tenure, which has been nothing short of controversy.
