CCI clears Sony acquisition of Ten Sports
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has cleared Sony Pictures Networks acquisition of Ten Sports.
ZEE Entertainment Enterprise Limited had informed the Bombay Stock Exchange in August 2016 about the proposed sale of ZEE’s sports broadcasting to business. The deal is reportedly worth $385 million.

The competition body approved the deal after it found no adverse impact on competition amongst existing channels.
