CBI unable to retrieve deleted texts on Jiah Khan’s phone

Four years after her tragic suicide, Jiah Khan’s family is still trying to work through the court case in getting justice for the late actress. With her ex-beau Sooraj Pancholi being accused for her death, news has it that the CBI team investigating the case recently failed to retrieve deleted text messages from the actor on Khan’s phone.

“The mobile was forwarded to FSL Gandhinagar, Gujarat, for analysis. But they could not recover the deleted messages from the mobile,” Times of India reports the CBI expressing, who investigated the mobile phone, in an attempt to gather evidence of Pancholi’s involvement in Khan’s suicide.

According to the report, there will be another hearing on Friday, where the defence and prosecution will debate the subject further.
