CBI rules out murder in Jiah Khan case

In a setback to Rabia Khan’s efforts of taking further her case of “murder” in her daughter’s Jiah Khan’s death, the CBI ruled that it was a case of suicide.

Rabia had demanded that Sooraj Pancholi should be tried for murder and not abetment of suicide in Jiah’s death. Deccan Chronicle reports that the Bombay High Court has asked Rabia to draw a list pointing out anomalies, if any, in the probe made by police and CBI.

The bench has advised the list to be drawn out in three columns: 1. Listing anomalies in police probe 2. Enumerating anomalies in CBI investigation 3. Rabia’s viewers on the points left out in the probe.

She will need to submit the list to court by 23rd August 2016.
