Cameos not going as expected for Katrina Kaif?

In the recently released ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, Katrina Kaif was seen as the beautiful dancer but this was expected as it was said that Fatima Sana Shaikh was the one with the meatier role. However, it seems Kaif might be in a pickle in general with her forthcoming releases.

A source told Asian Age, about Kaif in ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, “…Katrina’s role was meant to be a guest appearance. They wanted two sizzling item songs from her, and that’s it. But then they decided to use Katrina to promote Thugs of Hindostan alongside Bachchan saab, Aamir and Fatima. Considering her closeness to the Yash Raj banner and her determination to be in the good books of the movers and shakers in the industry, Katrina was seen promoting the film. A wrong move, and one that misled Katrina’s fans”.

It seems the forthcoming Aanand L Rai directorial ‘Zero’ will also not have Kaif in a featured part. The source added that she will be seen in a cameo type role in the film but the director said she’d “leave a lasting impression”.

The only full-fledged role Kaif has in her kitty at the moment is Salman Khan starrer ‘Bharat’, which she bagged because Priyanka Chopra walked out at the last minute.
