BritAsia TV confirms plans to leave Sky this month
BritAsia TV has announced its departure from the Sky platform as it gears up to launch its own dedicated streaming service.
The channel will transition to BritAsia Digital, offering HD and 4K UHD content across multiple platforms, including LG, Samsung, and Sony Smart TVs, as well as Firestick TV and Android/iOS apps.
BritAsia TV will officially stop broadcasting on Sky channel 761 on Wednesday, 15th January 2025.

In a statement, BritAsia TV CEO Tony Shergill said, “Sky is no longer the platform that aligns with our vision for delivering cutting-edge entertainment.”
This move follows BritAsia TV’s exit from Virgin Media back in 2020, reflecting the channel’s ongoing strategy to focus on digital and on-demand viewing.
