Brit Asia TV to return on BARB in June

Popular UK Asian music channel, Brit Asia TV is returning on BARB in June, BizAsiaLive.com can exclusively confirm.

The channel, which broadcasts free-to-air on Sky, recently underwent a management change, with Tony Shergill being appointed the new CEO of Brit Asia TV. In the coming days, the channel is expected to launch a number of key shows to lure back viewers and support it with a marketing campaign to push the brand forward.

In the lead up to the sale of the channel, Brit Asia TV was struggling with a weekly reach of around 100,000 viewers. However, with the new management scrutinising the channel’s output, some of the changes are likely to be effective from this month onwards.

Brit Asia TV will officially begin BARB reporting on Thursday 1st June.
