Brit Asia TV hunt for singing ‘Super Star’

Brit Asia TV is launching a huge new reality TV show to find the next Asian singing super star in the UK.

The programme titled ‘Brit Asia Super Star’ will give budding singers the opportunity to not only show-off their talents to a studio audience and on national TV, but also the chance to perform in front of and work with leading British Asian artists, music industry representatives and celebrities.

The winner of ‘Brit Asia Super Star’ will be selected via a public vote and will win a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to launch their career with an exclusive recording contract.

According to a release, the channel said, “British Asians have been creating a stir in the entertainment world for quite sometime. Artists like Jay Sean and Raghav have pushed British Asian music into the mainstream, MIA featured on an Oscar winning soundtrack, RDB have conquered Bollywood and now Brit Asia Super Star aims to discover a new star.”

‘Brit Asia Super Star’ is open to all singers, duets and groups over the age of twelve across four genres ��� Bhangra, Bollywood, R&B and Pop. Amateur or professional, bathroom singer or trained vocalist, people and groups of all standards are invited to participate and showcase their talents for the chance to become a super star.

‘Brit Asia Super Star’ is presented by Brit Asia TV and the auditions and contest stages will be aired on the channel from September providing entrants with fantastic exposure across UK and Europe.
