Brit Asia TV gets behind Chelsea’s Asian Star

Brit Asia TV has announced its association with Chelsea FC’s Asian Star event at Stamford Bridge for the first time.

The event, scheduled to take place on 3rd June, is the one of the first to be undertaken by a professional football club to lure Asians to participate in the sport. Asian Star was launched in 2009 and has grown in size ever since, attracting almost 400 young players and their parents to our Cobham training ground last year, where they competed in a series of matches and tests to examine speed, skill and ability under the watchful eye of Chelsea Foundation coaches.

The Asian Star event targets children aged between 9 and 12, who undergo training sessions with Chelsea coaches. Representatives from the Football Association and the London FA will also be attending.

This is Brit Asia TV’s first association for an event under its new management.
