Box Office: ‘Zero’ starts off well in India

Shah Rukh Khan’s latest release ‘Zero’ has started off well in India with an opening of around 35% in morning shows.

According to Box Office India, the numbers are said to be good in most places but not huge. It has been given a wide release with the capacity nearly as large as ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’. The film is the third biggest release ever after ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’.

‘Zero’ in terms of occupancy is less than the Hindi version of ‘2.0’ but the release is certainly wider and the ticket prices are higher.

It will be interesting to see how the film fairs at the box office over the weekend.
