Box Office: ‘War’ creates history for Hrithik & Tiger

Yash Raj Films’ latest action thriller ‘War’ is striking all the right chords at the box office and has emerged as one of the biggest hits ever for Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff.

The film’s business currently stands at a hugely impressive Rs. 77 crore, after just three days of its release in India. The film has crossed the lifetime business of ‘Student Of The Year 2’ (Rs. 70 crore), ‘Article 15’ (Rs. 65 crore), ‘Why Cheat India’ (Rs. 12 crore), ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ (Rs. 12 crore), ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’ (Rs. 37 crore), ‘The Zoya Factor’ (Rs. 6 crore), amongst many others.

For Shroff, the film has emerged as the second biggest hit of his career after ‘Baaghi 2’, which clocked up Rs. 165.50 crore. Similarly, for Roshan, this is his eighth biggest hit ever after ‘Krissh 3’ (Rs. 244 crore), ‘Bang Bang’ (Rs. 181.03 crore), ‘Super 30’ (Rs. 147 crore), ‘Agneepath’ (Rs. 123.05 crore), ‘Kaabil’ (Rs. 103.84 crore), ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ (Rs. 90 crore) and ‘Dhoom 2’ (Rs. 82.30 crore). However, with ‘War’ yet to enter the weekend business, it is expected to enter within Top 5 biggest hits ever for the actor.
