Box Office: ‘Veere Di Wedding’ opens up to decent numbers in India

The much talked about ‘chic-flick’, ‘Veere Di Wedding’ has had a good opening in India, in initial figures published by Box Office India.

The report says that the opening was around 30-35% in morning shows. The film’s decent numbers also makes it the third best opening in terms of occupancy. Whether the film can sustain its business throughout the weekend, will be something to watch out for.

It further states that ‘Veere Di Wedding’ has had a bigger opening than ‘PadMan’, ‘Raid’, ‘October’ and ‘Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran’. The film’s opening is also better than ‘Raazi’ in terms of morning business.
