Box Office: ‘Ujda Chaman’ opens up poorly in India

This weekend’s big release ‘Ujda Chaman’ starring Sunny Singh has got off to a poor start in India.

According to Box Office India, ‘Ujda Chaman’ had an opening of around 5-10% with a near 1000 screen release. Despite the large opening, morning trading for the film is below average.

‘Ujda Chaman’, which is a comedy about premature balding, will face stiff competition from the juggernaut ‘Housefull 4’. The Akshay Kumar comedy continues to dominate, even though numbers after eight days have dropped considerably.

‘Made In China’ has proven a disaster, while ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ had an upward trend and has maintained well.
