Box Office: ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ opens bigger than ‘Chhapaak’

This weekend sees a battle between two major releases ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ and ‘Chhapaak’, with a lot riding on the two films.

According to Box Office India, ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ had a head start with occupancy arranging between 20-25% in morning shows. The film has benefited from a huge push in Maharashtra.

The other release ‘Chhapaak’ starring Deepika Padukone has opened up with good numbers too between 15-20%. The film has witnessed an encouraging boost from Delhi NCR and Bangalore. It has done well for a female-centric film and is on target to beat other female films like ‘Raazi’ and ‘Manikarnika – The Queen Of Jhansi’.
