Box Office: Sushant & Sara’s ‘Kedarnath’ to release in March?

Susant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan’s much awaited next ‘Kedarnath’ has reportedly been pushed back until March 2019.

The film, which was expected to release on 30th November, has been postponed by four months, according to Mumbai Mirror.

A source told the publication, “With Ronnie’s Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam-starrer, Uri: The Surgical Strike, slated to release in January, and Abhishek Chaubey’s daku drama, Sonchiraiya, also with Sushant, to open in February, Kedarnath has been pushed to March. However, the makers are yet to zero in on a specific date.”

Earlier, the film faced controversy after its first producer, Prernaa Arora was replaced with Ronnie Screwvala due to a fall out with director Abhishek Kapoor. The film is now on track with not much work left. In August, Kapoor told the publication that the toughest shoot of the film had been done. He said, “The terrain and the weather were both daunting and taking a crew of 150 on a trek for a month to shoot is not an easy task.”
