Box Office: SRK & Akshay Kumar to clash on Indian Republic weekend 2015?

Last year Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar were all set to release their movies – ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara’ – at Eid but this face-off was averted as Balaji Motion Pictures rescheduled their movie to make way for Khan.

However, BizAsia has learnt that bothKhan and Kumar are eyeing 23rd January 2015 as a release date for their respective movies as it a Republic Day weekend.

Kumar is yet to start his shoot for Neeraj Pandey’s next and, on the other hand, Khan will begin his shoot for Maneesh Sharma’s ‘Fan’ as soon as he finishes shooting Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’.

Will one back down once again?
