Box Office: ‘Sooryavanshi’ & ‘Inshallah’ Eid 2020 clash averted

‘Sooryavanshi’ and ‘Inshallah’ are set to hit the screens on Eid 2020. But latest reports suggests that Rohit Shetty is in no mood for a box-office clash. Reportedly, he is likely to change the release date of his Akshay Kumar starrer

Two of Bollywood’s biggest stars – Kumar and Salman Khan – were set for a clash with ‘Sooryavanshi’ and ‘Inshallah’ before Shetty stepped in to make his changes, reports India Today. According to reports , Shetty is in no mood to lock horns with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie and will shift the release date. “Rohit and Akshay Kumar announced their Sooryavanshi first for Eid 2020. But now when Salman is coming on Eid with Inshallah, there is no need for a clash. Sooryavanshi would easily find another release date. If Inshallah were to be postponed Salman’s fans would be upset,” a source said

While Shetty had announced the release date of ‘Sooryavanshi’ along with the first-look poster, Khan recently made the revelation about his release date. In an interview, Khan said that he will begin working on Bhansali’s film after he wraps up ‘Dabangg 3.’ The 53-year-old said, “I’ll start Dabangg 3 first and then Sanjay will release his film after that. So, Dabangg will release in December and we will come on Eid, next Eid (2020).”
