After months of postponement, Rohit Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ is confirmed for release at Diwali this year.
Shetty met with Uddhav Thackeray, Maharastra Chief Minister, who has also announced that cinema halls in the region will be opening on 22nd October, ahead of the festival.
Lead actor Akshay Kumar also posted on his social media confirming the film’s Diwali release:

Aside from Kumar, Katrina Kaif plays a lead role in the film. Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh will be completing the cop universe in the film in their characters from ‘Singham’ and ‘Simmba’.
