Box Office: ‘Soorma’ starts off on an average note

The Bollywood biopic of hockey player, Sandeep Singh, ‘Soorma’ has got off to an average start at the box office in India.

According to Box Office India, the Diljit Dosanjh film opened best in North India with business in Punjab and Delhi fetching 30-35% collections, compared to 10-15% collections elsewhere.

The opening of the film is said to be good at multiplexes in East Punjab and Delhi, with collections on par with ‘Raazi’ (2018).

‘Sanju’ continued to hold on strongly in week two business. No doubt, it will give further competition to ‘Soorma’. ‘Sanju’ is set to cross Rs. 300 crore nett this weekend.
