Box Office: Sonam Kapoor Ahuja’s ‘The Zoya Factor’ postponed again

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘The Zoya Factor’ has reportedly been delayed again due to a clash with the upcoming cricket world cup.

The film based on the novel of the same name by Anuja Chauhan, was initially due for release on 5th April 2019 but was put back until 14th June 2019. However, it seems the film may get pushed back until September due to the cricket tournament.

A source was cited in DNA India saying, “One of the reasons the film is being postponed is because there is post-production work left. But the driving factor here is the timing.”

The source added, “While the makers earlier thought it would be wise to release the film amidst the World Cup fever, they now feel that it may not be the most lucrative period in terms of box-office business. So, they are eyeing an early September release. The final date is yet to be zeroed in. The trailer will be launched by July-end.”
