Where many film makers make compromises with the release of their films in order to make sure their films get the best chance of having most of their viewers watch their films, it comes to a surprise that Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Rohit Shetty will not be doing anything of the sort for their Eid releases next year.
According to The Asian Age, Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ starring Akshay Kumar and Bhansali’s ‘Inshallah’ which will star Salman Khan, are still set to release on the same weekend.
“Neither film will move out. It is being presumed that Akshay and Rohit Shetty will bow out because Eid traditionally goes to a Salman starrer, also because Rohit and Akshay have compromised and moved forward their release in the past. But not this time. ‘Sooryavanshi’ will take on Salman’s Inshallah,” a source was reported explaining.
This is not the first time Bhansali’s film has clashed with another, and at that time he didn’t see a lot of success. However, this time, it looks like he’s hoping the same thing won’t happen again.
