This weekend’s action-packed drama ‘Rocky Handsome’ has had a fair opening in India, despite stiff competition from Hollywood film ‘Batman V Superman – Dawn Of Justice’.
According to Box Office India, the John Abraham film had an opening of around 25-30%, with a decent performance on paid previews earning 1.50 crore nett apprx. The film seems to have benefited from the Good Friday holiday but should have done much better. With an average start at the box office, it is hoping the film will grow further during the weekend.
Punjabi film ‘Ambarsariya’ starring Diljit Dosanjh got off to a strong start in Punjab and Delhi. It is expected to do well throughout the weekend.
