Box Office: Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Shamshera’ to release in July 2022

Ranbir Kapoor returns to the big screens this July with the much anticipated release of ‘Shamshera’ helmed by Yash Raj Films.

The film set in the British Raj, also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor. The film has been postponed once before due to the pandemic. However, with the way things stand, ‘Shamshera’ will hit cinemas on Friday 22nd July 2022.

Kapoor took to social media to announce, “Azaadi tumhe koi deta nahi, azaadi jeeti jaati hai (freedom is not handed to you, it has to be won). Karam se dacait, dharam se azaad (dacoit by deed, free by faith).”
