Box Office: Ranbir-Deepika’s ‘Tamasha’ to release in 2016?

Tamasha 340x

After their last superhit ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ together, the much talked about Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone film ‘Tamasha’ is reportedly being pushed back to 2016.

So what’s the reasoning behind the pushback? Well it looks as though both Kapoor and Padukone have a long list of films being set for release this year and thus the December 2015 seems unlikely at present.

There is ‘Roy’, ‘Bombay Velvet’, and ‘Jagga Jasoos’ for Kapoor, who felt that a little gap between films would be best. Padukone is also the leading lady in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ which was set for release this year, although will be more than likely pushed back too. This might be tactical as Bhansali will not want to compete with the might of Shah Rukh Khan who’s next film directed by Rohit Shetty is due for release in December 2015!

Despite all the push backs of films this year, everyone is happy as big releases all at one can be damaging to business, so as it stands everyone is happy in Bollywood!
