Box Office: ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ opens to a record start

This season’s biggest movie ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ has as expected opened to a record start in India.

According to Box Office India, the blockbuster film opened up to an average of 75% collections across India. The film’s humongous start is also down to the national holiday for Diwali today. It is expected to rise further today and throughout the next few days. With the way the film has opened up in India, it would be no surprise if it emerges as the highest opening day ever. Its target is to beat the collections of last year’s ‘Happy New Year’ by garnering over 40 Crore.

‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ has been released on 4200 screens in Hindi.
