Box Office: Poor openings for ‘Simran’ & ‘Lucknow Central’

The two big releases this weekend, ‘Simran’ and ‘Lucknow Central’ have got off to a slow start.

Box Office India reports that the morning shows of the two films seemed less than last week’s ‘Poster Boys’. ‘Simran’ may work better at high-end multiplexes. The film also has had immense publicity owing to Kangna Ranaut’s controversial interview on ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ recently.

The report adds that both films have ranged between 8-10% and could pick up depending on word of mouth this weekend.
