Box Office: ‘Pathaan’ opens up in a huge way in India
Yash Raj Films’ much talked about release ‘Pathaan’ has had a whopping start at the box office.
According to data from Box Office India, the Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer opened up with around 60% on average. It was the second biggest opener post the pandemic, after ‘KGF Chapter 2’.
The film is reporting full houses at single screens during matinee shows. However, there are also reports that the film’s initial is not on the level of ‘War’ or ‘KGF Chapter 2’ in some Hindi circuits. The film’s business is expected to rise though due to the upcoming India Republic Day weekend.
