Box Office: ‘Pathaan’ mints Rs. 313 crore in first three days

Yash Raj Films’ ‘Pathaan’ (2023) has crossed Rs. 313 crore gross worldwide in just three days!

The Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham has recorded the biggest opening weekend in the history of Hindi cinema. Official numbers confirmed that the movie has crossed Rs 300 crore mark on its third day. With this new record, ‘Pathaan’ has set two new box office records to its credit. Its become the fastest Hindi film to hit the Rs 300 crore mark worldwide. ‘Pathaan’ is the first Hindi film to collect over Rs 300 crore gross on its opening weekend.

‘Pathaan’ earned Rs 38 crore in Hindi, while the dubbed formats earned Rs 1.25 crore; summing the total India collection on Day 2 to Rs 39.25 crore. The overseas collection was an overwhelming Rs 43 crore (gross). Making the worldwide box-office collection on day 3  to a whopping Rs 90 crore.

Yash Raj Films CEO, Akshaye Widhani said, “It is incredible that ‘Pathaan’ has registered the biggest all-time opening in India and overseas.” He added, “‘Pathaan’ has been blessed by Indians across the globe and what is happening with this film is unprecedented and historic.”

‘Pathaan’ has not just broken box office records, but SRK-Deepika’s film has broken the bad phase that Bollywood was going through post pandemic. ‘Pathaan‘, is part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe.
